The Meta channels join Google in the self-connect list. Plus what the feed watches on your competitors / peers every morning.

Facebook, Instagram and Meta Ads now connect from your own account

Your Facebook Page, Instagram account and Meta Ads accounts now connect to the Marketing Feed the same way the Google channels do: press Connect, log in with Facebook, pick the Page, the Instagram account and the ad accounts you want watched, done. Thirteen months of history come across on the first pull.

What the report does with it

The social section shows views, engagement and follower change month by month across Facebook and Instagram, the posts that actually worked, and a read on why the good months were good. The paid section puts Meta Ads spend, clicks and cost per click campaign by campaign against the last thirteen months, next to Google Ads.

Your competitors / peers, watched every morning

This is the part of the feed that needs no connection at all. Give us the name, Instagram and website of each organisation you measure against, and every morning the feed checks their Instagram followers and posting, their Google rating and review count, the ads they are running right now in the Meta Ad Library, changes and new pages on their website, and their site speed.

The monthly report puts you against each of them on one chart. An alert lands the morning one of them starts new ads or their reviews jump. On Professional and Strategic, the report also reads the angles their creative is pushing and suggests three tests to run against it.

Competitors or peers

Not every organisation has competitors. A council, a health network or a not-for-profit has peers: the organisations it is measured against. The feed works the same way either way. Name them, and they are watched.
