Sunday rank checks against every competitor / peer, anonymised benchmarks for your category, and a quarterly strategy report for Strategic plans.
Three additions to the Marketing Feed this month, all of them about where you stand rather than what you did.
Keyword ranks and share of voice
Add the searches your customers make, with a location if it matters, and every Sunday the feed checks where you and each competitor / peer rank for them on Google in Australia. One search covers everyone, so the numbers are comparable. The report turns that into share of voice: how much of the attention on those searches lands on you against each of the organisations you measure against, weighted by where the clicks actually go. You can run a check on demand from the app whenever you want a fresh read. Professional and Strategic plans.
Category benchmarks
Every subscriber is placed in a category. Once a category has enough organisations in it, the report shows where you sit against the others on the numbers that matter: ad click-through and cost per click, organic click-through and position, Instagram and Facebook engagement, follower growth, reviews and site speed. The pool is anonymised; you see the range, the middle and where you land, never who is who. Then a plain read on the gap worth closing.
Quarterly strategy
Strategic plans now get a quarterly report on the 5th after each quarter. It is built to be looked at rather than read: three defining numbers for the quarter, what worked and what did not, you beside your competitors / peers on share of voice, followers, reviews, ads and speed, numbered bets for the next quarter with an owner, a cost and what would prove them, and the one metric to watch.
All three are in the report from the next run for anyone on the right plan. Nothing to switch on.
