Alerts, digest and Slack

Your channels and competitors / peers are checked every morning. When something moves, an alert lands in the app and in your inbox. Every Monday you get a round-up of the week.

  • Overview tab > What changed shows the last three alerts. Select All to see the rest.
  • What changed tab shows every alert for the brand, newest first. Select Show all to see beyond the first eight.

The What changed tab shows a count of alerts from the last seven days. The Last alert at the top of the brand page shows when the most recent one landed.

Each alert shows the date, its type, the competitor / peer it’s about (if any) and what happened.

Type What triggers it
Ad spend A swing in your ad spend.
Ad costs Your ad costs (CPM) going up.
Followers A drop in your followers.
Search A dip in your Google search clicks.
Competitor / peer ads A competitor / peer starts running new ads, or stops running ads. New ads come with links to view them.
Competitor / peer reviews A jump in a competitor / peer’s reviews.
Competitor / peer followers A jump in a competitor / peer’s followers.

Some alerts are highlighted as more important than others.

Every Monday, a round-up of the week’s alerts is emailed to you.

Alerts and the Monday digest are emailed. Add a Slack incoming webhook and they post to a Slack channel as well.

Owners and admins can set this up.

  1. In Slack, create an incoming webhook for the channel you want and copy its URL. It starts with https://hooks.slack.com/services/.
  2. In the app, go to Marketing Feed > your brand > Setup tab > Slack.
  3. Paste it into Incoming webhook URL.
  4. Select Save.

The section shows Connected.

To stop posting to Slack, clear the URL and select Turn off.

Slack is set for each brand separately.

Alerts and the digest need an active subscription. If your subscription ends or isn’t set up, they’re paused. See Manage your subscription.
