  2. Enter your Business name. This names your account, and you can change it later.
  3. Enter Your name and Email address.
  4. Enter a Password of at least 12 characters. Common passwords that have appeared in data breaches are rejected.
  5. Complete the security check if one is shown.
  6. Select Create Account.

You’re signed in straight away and taken to the app.

  1. On the signup page, select Continue with Google.
  2. Choose your Google account.

Google doesn’t give KnowYourMarket.ai a business name, so you’ll be asked for one in the first-run setup.

If you were invited by email, use the link in the invitation. The signup page then shows Create your account and doesn’t ask for a business name, because you’re joining an existing workspace rather than creating one. See Team members.

After signup, KnowYourMarket.ai sends a verification email. Until you verify:

  • a banner shows at the top of the app
  • a reminder appears once a day
  • you can’t top up your wallet

To verify, open the email and select the link. If it hasn’t arrived:

  1. Open the user menu (your name, top right) and select Account Settings.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Under Email verification, select Resend email.

If you created a new account and you’re its owner or admin, a short setup runs the first time you land in the app. Every step can be skipped.

  1. Confirm your business name. This is the name on your dashboard, your invitations and your receipts. Select Continue.
  2. What do you want KYM for? Tick as many as apply: Intelligence Reports, Marketing Feed and Demand. Each product you tick is turned on for your workspace. Nothing is locked in.
  3. Which leads should reach you? This step only appears if you ticked Demand. Pick your Pillars (industries) and, optionally, States. Leave the states empty to take enquiries from anywhere in Australia. Select Finish.

When you finish, KnowYourMarket.ai takes you to the product you picked: Demand settings, Marketing Feed, or the Intelligence Reports list.

If your workspace still has a generated name such as “Jane’s Workspace”, owners and admins see a one-off prompt: What is your business called? Enter the name and select Save, or select Not now to dismiss it for good.
