Profile and security

Open the user menu (your name, top right) and select Account Settings. The Account page has two tabs: Profile and Security.

  • Profile: your name, email, whether your email is verified and whether you have a password set.
  • Current workspace: the organisation, your role, your status and the wallet balance.
  • Preferences: your Display currency.
  • Memberships: every workspace you belong to, with your role in each.

Wallet balances, top-up amounts and report prices show in this currency. Your wallet is held in AUD and conversion happens automatically.

  1. Go to Account Settings > Profile > Preferences.
  2. Pick a currency from the Display currency list.
  1. Go to Account Settings > Security > Password.
  2. Select Change password.
  3. Enter your Current password, a New password of at least 12 characters, and Confirm new password.
  4. Select Update password.

Changing your password signs you out on every other browser and device. The browser you’re using stays signed in.

Signed up with Google and have no password?

Section titled “Signed up with Google and have no password?”

Password shows No password set. To add one, log out, select Forgot password? on the login page and follow the link to set a password. You can then sign in either way.

Two-factor authentication adds a code from an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy) when you sign in on a new device.

  1. Go to Account Settings > Security > Two-factor authentication.
  2. Select Enable and follow the steps.

To turn it off, select Disable in the same place.

When you sign in with two-factor authentication and tick Trust this device, KnowYourMarket.ai remembers that device for 30 days so you don’t need a code each time.

Account Settings > Security > Trusted devices lists each trusted device, when it was last used and when it expires. The one you’re using is marked This device.

  • To remove a device, select Revoke.
  • To remove the one you’re on, select Revoke this device, then Confirm revoke. You’ll need a code next time you sign in on it.

Revoke any device you don’t recognise.

  1. Go to Account Settings > Security > Linked identities.
  2. Select Link Google to sign in with one click, or Unlink then Confirm unlink to remove it.

You can’t unlink Google if it’s your only way to sign in. Set a password first.

If your email isn’t verified, go to Account Settings > Security > Email verification and select Resend email.

Open the user menu and select Log Out.
