Lead settings
Lead settings decide which leads reach your organisation. You’ll find them in My Demand > Settings.
There are three parts:

| States | Limits leads to the Australian states you tick. Applies to every pillar. | You receive every state. |
| Pillars | Turns each pillar on or off. | You receive no leads. |
| Lead types | Limits each pillar to the lead types you tick. Set per pillar. | You receive every lead type in that pillar. |
Change your states
Section titled “Change your states”- Go to My Demand > Settings.
- Under States, tick the states you cover: NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS, ACT or NT.
- Select Save.
The hint under the states confirms your choice, for example “Every state. Tick states to narrow.” or “Only NSW, QLD.”
Turn pillars on or off
Section titled “Turn pillars on or off”- Go to My Demand > Settings.
- Under Pillars:
- use the switch on a pillar to turn it off, or
- select + Add a pillar, then select the pillar you want.
- Select Save.
Choose lead types for a pillar
Section titled “Choose lead types for a pillar”Some pillars offer lead types you can narrow by. They appear as chips inside each pillar’s box.
- Go to My Demand > Settings.
- Under Pillars, find the pillar and tick the lead types you want.
- Select Save.
Leave every type unticked to receive all of them.
Saving and discarding
Section titled “Saving and discarding”- Save applies your changes. You’ll see “Saved. Takes effect on the next lead.”
- Discard puts the settings back to how they were.
- While you have unsaved changes you’ll see “Unsaved changes. Save to apply them to the next lead.”
Check your current settings
Section titled “Check your current settings”On My Demand > My Leads, a line under the tabs sums up what you receive, for example “Receiving: every state · 3 pillars · every lead type.” Select Change to jump to the settings.
If you have no pillars, you’ll see an amber banner instead: You are not set to receive any leads. Select Choose your pillars to fix it.
Who can edit lead settings

People who can’t edit see “Ask an owner or admin to change this.”
Setting up when you first sign up
Section titled “Setting up when you first sign up”When you create a new account, setup asks for:
- Your business name.
- What you want KnowYourMarket.ai for.
- If you picked Demand: Which leads should reach you? Pick your pillars and, optionally, your states. Leave the states empty to take enquiries from anywhere in Australia.
You can skip any step and change everything later in My Demand > Settings.
