Google Ads

Connect Google Ads to bring spend and results into the brand’s feed and reports.

Sign in with the Google account that has access to the Google Ads account.

  1. Go to Marketing Feed > your brand > Setup tab > Channels.
  2. Under Add a channel > Google, select Google Ads.
  3. Sign in to Google and approve access.
  4. Back in the app, choose the Google Ads account. Each one shows its name, account number (for example 123-456-7890) and currency.
  5. Select Connect.

The channel shows Loading history while the last 12 months load.

By default, every campaign in the account counts for the brand. If one Google Ads account runs campaigns for several brands, tick only the ones that belong to this brand.

  1. In the Channels table, find the Google Ads row. Under the account it shows All campaigns included or the number of campaigns included.
  2. Select Choose campaigns.
  3. Tick the campaigns that belong to this brand. Use Tick all or Untick all to speed things up. Each campaign shows whether it’s Active, Paused or Removed.
  4. Select Save.

Things to know:

  • Only ticked campaigns count in this brand’s spend, results and reports.
  • A new campaign stays out until you tick it, unless every campaign is ticked. With every campaign ticked, new campaigns are picked up automatically.
  • You must tick at least one campaign.
  • Saving reloads the last 13 months of Google Ads for the brand. It takes a few minutes.

“That Google account has no Google Ads accounts we can read.” You signed in with an account that has no access, or the ads account is already connected to this brand. Connect with the Google account that has access to the ads account.
